I am a barium master.

Barium! So for the last few Fridays at work I'd come in, and right away there would be some dog that had eaten something odd and had to get barium force-fed into him so that whatever was obstructing his gastro tract would show up better on x-rays. Actually, at one time, there were two dogs named Bailey, both up front with fluids being pumped into them IV, and both had to get barium because they ate something bad! Both were taken to the emergency animal care place overnight, then when one Bailey came back, the retriever, he was doing much better, even wagging his tail. I was so glad that he wasn't lethargic anymore! Some dogs are so stubborn and tough. Anyways, I sure hope my x-ray badge comes soon! I can't take x-rays until I have it, and sometimes they could really use an extra hand... I also want to see how x-rays happen! It's like a whole new world I never get to see, haha.

Hmm... Fish or cod liver oil? There was a dog who came for a dental and he smelled like fish. End of story. Well, not really. First, no one believed me, then someone said, "Whoa, he smells just like cod liver oil!" I've never had cod liver oil (thankfully), so I have no idea what it tastes/smells like. Odd. I still have the smell on my hands, though.... blech!

It is nice weather now, so I can go outside and enjoy the sunshine. I'll let Rosie eat some grass outside, and Shasta will run. Like usual, haha.
